MOTHER LOVE
Tender hands to hold me,
And arms to enfold me too,
This is part of the Mother love
That I received from you.
Always the time for a story
Or a hug as our pathways crossed,
Always a calming influence
When my little boat was storm tossed.
Cooking up a special treat
For a picnic in the park,
Standing with me and watching
The moon rise in the sky after dark.
Loving me unconditionally
Guiding my uncertain days,
Your Mother Love was cherished
And brought special joy to my days.
